Raising the Standard in West Africa’s Feed Industry

Ibiseun Aroniyo’s journey reflects what continuous learning can achieve when paired with ambition and responsibility. As Quality Assurance Manager at Premier Feed Mills, one of West Africa’s leading feed companies, he has transformed both his career and his organization through his engagement with the Soy Excellence Center.

Two years ago, Ibiseun faced the challenge of optimizing production across multiple sites while strengthening customer trust and brand loyalty. Determined to elevate standards, he immersed himself in SEC’s feed milling curriculum, sharpening his expertise in batching, mixing, pelleting, extrusion, cooking, and quality assurance.

The results were measurable. Premier Feed Mills became the only feed milling company in the West African subregion to earn GMP+ International certification alongside key national regulatory approvals, positioning the company as a market leader.

Ibiseun expanded his learning into poultry production, strengthening after sales advisory services and guiding farmers on feed efficiency, stress management, and biosecurity. His knowledge transfer has inspired colleagues to pursue SEC courses, embedding a culture of excellence across the company.

In 2025, Ibiseun was recognized as the SEC Sub Saharan Africa STAR Awardee, selected from more than 70 competitive participants. His journey demonstrates how commitment to learning can elevate individuals, organizations, and entire value chains.
